healthy eating my way (allergy friendly)
This might sound weird to some, but this dish reminds me of summer time and my grandmother. And since there is an abundance of plums around the house right now. I chose to make this lovely and easy dessert!
1/2 kg (1.1 lbs ) blue plums ( cut in half)
1/2 dl (1/4 cups) brown sugar/ agave nectar
1/2 dl (1/4 cups) water
2 tbsp potato starch ( potetmel))
Put the plums in a pan, and add the water. Bring it to a boil. And let it simmer until it becomes a slight “mosh”. Add the sugar. Add the potato starch in a little bowl, and add a little water, and stir. Add it to the plums, and stir as little as possible, or els the dessert gets chewy. Let it simmer for another 1-2 minutes.
This can be served with vanilla sauce or with milk.
