healthy eating my way (allergy friendly)
As the temperature creeps even higher, and we set up our grills and dream about white beaches and waves!
In some countries that I’ve been to, there has been grilled banana wrapped in palm leafs. I didn’t have palm leafs, so I used aluminum foil. I served the hot , grilled bananas with coconut vanilla ice cream that is sweetened by agave nectar ( My favorite ice cream).
2 ripe bananas ( thinly sliced)
1 tsp oil (of your choice)
2 tbsp palm sugar
Spread the pieces of banana on the foil, drizzle the oil over and then the sugar. Wrap it up. And put it on low on your grill, let be on there until the sugar has all melted ( or even a little longer). I like when it caramelizes and mixes with the flavor of the banana.
Let cool off for a little before serving!
