healthy eating my way (allergy friendly)

Clean Baked Black Sesame Salmon

So I’ve learned the hard way that when we are in the South, it is important to have snacks with me. Sometimes we can drive for hrs without one healthy place to eat. Only fast food, upon fast food, upon fast food place. This was my snacks for today. Some fruit, nuts, and dried fruit, coconut yoghurt, water, and juice. And some protein bars from “greens”. I also packed some snacks for my son. Thats the red things. I still breast feed, but he eats “normal” food too. I love fish, and we bought some wild salmon the other day at the “Whole Foods Market” down in Nashville. Serving size 4-5 persons Marinade 1 cup  (2 dl ) grapeseed oil Juice of 1 lemon Juice of 1/2 grapefruit 2 tbsp dijon mustard 2 green onions chopped 2 tbsp freshly chopped  parsley 2 tbsp black sesame seeds 2 tsp himalayan salt 2 tsp pepper 1/4 cup  (1/2 dl) balsamico 2.2 lb (1 kg) wild salmon fillets ——————————– Let marinate for 2-3 hrs in the fridge. Preheat oven to 400 F (200C) Bake for  30-40 minutes. Check it while baking. I served this with homemade fish sauce, kale chips and purple sweet potatoes.

Oh dear, sounds bad to come across only fast food places… I would do exactly the same, pack some healthy snacks 🙂 The salmon looks lovely, I am sure it was delicious! 🙂

Yes, I think so. First time I was here, I didn’t know what to do. I did not know were to go and get food that I eat, but now I know:) 🙂 Thank you Kristina:)
