healthy eating my way (allergy friendly)

Whole Grain Scones

2 dl (3/4 cup)buckwheat flour

1 dl (1/2 cup)sorghum flour

1/2 dl (1/4 cup) spelt flour

1 tsp baking powder

1 tsp baking soda

1/4 tsp salt

1/2 dl (1/4 cup) palm sugar

1 dl (1/2 cup) coconut oil (cold)

1 dl (1/2 cup) milk of your choice

Topping

2 tsp palm sugar

3 tsp sesame seeds

3 tsp chopped walnuts

1)Preheat oven to 200C (375 F)

2)Mix all the dry ingredients together

3)Mix in the coconut oil. Crumble.

4)Add in the remaining ingredients

5)Roll out the dough, and dust with flour ,and  then  gently fold the dough. Before rolling it out again 1-2 cm thick (3/4 inch)

6) Use a round cutter/or a glass dipped in flour to cut out rounds in the dough. Gather the scraps and repeat the rolling and folding process.

7) Brush with some milk, and sprinkle on the topping

8)Bake for 10-15 minutes

9) Cool off and enjoy! I had mine with homemade blueberry jam

    I never tried to make scones, they seem so difficult to make!

      Its not that had:) 🙂 🙂 You should give it a try:) 🙂 🙂 🙂 Scones are very good, and you don’t have to wait for the whole yeast, and raising thing:)
