healthy eating my way (allergy friendly)
Good morning everyone.
Cayenne pepper, and other “hot”spices like chili has been said to amp up the metabolism. This breakfast salad, is spicy but sweet at the same time, and an excellent way to add more fruit into your diet. Sometimes it is hard to eat 5 fruits or vegetables a day, so why don’t start by eating some of them in the morning. A good start to your day.
How do you know that the papaya is ripe:
1/2 ripe papaya
5 cherry tomatoes ( we have some called “dulcitas” and they are like the name sweet)
1/2 ripe avocado
Season to taste:
1/2 clove of garlic: minced
Juice of 1/2 lemon
Cut up the papaya, use a spoon and take out the seeds. Take the peel of, and chop up the papaya. And put in a bowl.
Cut up the tomatoes, and avocado ( the dulcitas are sweet as honey). Add the the bowl.
Squeeze over the lemon juice
Add the minced garlic, and add the seasoning to taste. Mix well, and you are ready to go.
