healthy eating my way (allergy friendly)
I love green olives, and I really like dried fruit. These are so good, put some cream cheese of your choice and some fresh green onions on them, and you are ready to go. To make them takes a little bit , but it is worth it.
1 cup milk
1 tsp apple cider vinegar
2 tbs palm sugar
2 tbs maple syrup ( or yacoon syrup)
1 cup flour ( I used almond)
1 tbs baking powder
1 tbs baking soda
1/2 cup chopped pitted dates
1/4 cup sunflower seeds
1 tbs chia seeds
2 tbs flax seeds
1/2 tsp salt
1 1/2 tsp oregano
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp black pepper
1 tbs black sesame seeds for sprinkling
1.Preheat oven to 350 F
2.Mix all the wet ingredients, and then stir in all the dry ingredients.
3.Lightly grease an 8 x 4-inch loaf pan
4. Poor the mix in, and sprinkle with black sesame seeds
5.Bake for 25-30 minutes, check with a fork, if the fork comes out clean the bread is done.
6. Let cool in the pan for 5 minutes, and then turn the loaf out onto a wire rack. Try to let the bread cool completly off
7. Turn oven to 325 F
8.Cut bread into thin slices (about 1/2 cm)
9. Lay them out on an ungreased sheet pan lined with aluminum foil, bake for 20-30 minutes. Flip the crackers over, and bake for a final 20-30 minutes, until golden all over. If they are not all the way crisp. Keep them in longer.
10.The more they cool of, the crispier they become.
